Marketing and SEO Specialist, India Responsibilities: Develop and implement an
SEO strategy including identifying keywords Evaluate current websites and make
recommendations for search optimization of content, navigation, and both
inbound and outbound linking Develop action plans for achieving and measuring
SEO success, including determining key metrics and processes for measurement
and optimization Define and execute on-page optimizations including meta
elements such as page title, page heading hierarchy, image alteate text, link
and anchor text, and description Collaborate on development and execution of
relevant landing pages Stay abreast of major changes in Google and other top
search engine algorithms and make recommendations for website changes based on
these Analyze search traffic, making recommendations to increase conversions
and overall site improvement and monitor site performance for potential errors
which could impact search ranking Review and make recommendations to optimize
existing and new corporate content including but not limited to web content,
blogs, collateral, and press releases Work with web team to implement sitemap
in both HTML and XML Ensure websites can be indexed accurately and verify they
have been indexed by Google Make recommendations for social media strategy as
it pertains to SEO May evaluate need for and make recommendations on PPC
campaigns through Google AdWords May assist in email marketing and other demand
generation activities Qualifications: Bachelors or equivalent degree required;
MBA preferred 3+ years of experience in online marketing with a successful
track record, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy Minimum of 2 years of
experience in SEO and SEM with proven ability to raise search rankings Advanced
knowledge of Google Analytics, SEOmoz, Google Webmaster Tools and other
analytics programs Deep understanding of latest Google algorithms including
Penguin and Panda, and how they affect SEO Ability to research, discover , and
analyze keywords Understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, and code structure as it
relates to SEO Experience with LeadFormix, Salesforce.com or other marketing
and sales automation platforms preferred Understanding of how social media can
advance SEO efforts is desirable Familiarity with Google AdWords and other SEM
programs is also preferred Experience in email marketing and other demand
generation activities would be useful
